Abstract

The LPG Gas Leakage Alert System represents a significant advancement in the field of electrical safety systems, specifically tailored to address the risks associated with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leaks. The utilization of the ATmega8 microcontroller demonstrates the synergy between electronics and control systems. This microcontroller, programmed to monitor and analyze the sensor's electrical output, becomes the central processing unit of the entire system. The Buzzer, driven by electrical signals from the microcontroller, transforms the analytical results into a discernible alarm, alerting individuals to the potential danger posed by the gas leak. Moreover, the system's electrical autonomy is assured by a 3.7V 2Ah Battery, delivering power to the components. The integration of a 3.7V to 5V Booster exemplifies electrical ingenuity, ensuring that the ATmega8 operates efficiently within the specified voltage range. The LPG Gas Leakage Alert System epitomizes the convergence of electrical engineering principles with safety applications, underscoring the vital role of technology in mitigating risks and safeguarding lives and property in environments where LPG is utilized.
